So I have a Honda Civic with a blown head gasket a mechanic confirmed with a chemical test. When I check the dipstick and the Oil cap I see no signs of coolant mixing with oil I even took the valve cover off and no signs of water whatsoever, although after the car warms up there's bubbles coming through the hose in the coolant reservoir. Not a lot maybe a bubble every 10 seconds. My question is can I still drive my car for another two weeks until I have time to fix it? Or am I risking messing up the engine? There's a noticeable steering wheel shake at 75 mph. It worse when going 80-85mph. I have bought new wheels, tires, replaced front struts (done at the Honda dealer), driver's side tie rod and have done at least 3 alignments and still have the problem. Also when I let go of the wheel the car goes to the left. When I drive over humpy bridges, instead of the jumping going up and down like other cars do this car jumps sideways. Hey, I just bought a brand new 2016 Honda CBR500R fresh out of the crate, i'm close to 500km and I have been riding it pretty hard (full throttle, improper gear shifting like from 5-1 without releasing the clutch, shifted without the clutch a couple of times, and sometimes not letting the bike warm up before riding), I just figured out about the break in process and the oil change at 1000km, i'm scared this might cause some damage to the bike and how long it will last. I have noticed the shifting getting soft to where I can't feel shifts, and the braking has softened up a lot as well. So, I had a bad experience at the El Monte Honda. They have a summer special, a lease for the Accord LX for $109 + tax per month, for $3500 down payment with the drive-off/tax/documentation fees. So I was going to a friends house and I got into a accident, I'm fine, a little sore from falling but pretty good. According to Police report "Vehicle 1 is a 2017 Honda Civic. What do I do? I live on a dead end wth very few houses and cars parked. My car is grey and there's white paint on my car. While the scratch is not AWFUL, I want it fixed as it is not my fault. The cars I'm comparing are a 2006 Mazda 3 I touring sedan 5 speed manual vs a 2016 Honda Pilot awd. Hypothetically speaking, say a Mazda 3 driver was driving recklessly through traffic. As he is weaving brought traffic, he almost causes an accident to another driver in a Honda Pilot. The minute the Mazda 3 driver crosses the line, this enrages the Honda driver to chase the Mazda 3 driver. My question is if the Mazda 3 was in good condition, how would it do against an SUV like a Honda Pilot? Could it outrun it assuming both drivers are skilled? I'm looking into buying a second hand Honda Accord Euro from the 2003 - 2006 year range (most likely 2004) but will want to install a tow bar as not many come with them. Does installation require cutting out part of the rear bar (removing the bumper then cutting out part of the metal rear bar) and then welding the new one in place? Or does it simply bolt on in a few places and then you have to cut out of the bumper for the actual tow bar to stick out of? The person driving, was traveling to work, when a tractor truck hit the car from behind. He ( the driver of the tractor truck), took pushed the car for a whiled before the car finally began to spin out, hitting the middle divider on the highway. The car that got hit is a 2002 Honda civic, both doors; the drivers and the back passengers were damaged to the point where you can't open the door, also broke one of the wheels on the right side of the driver. I have a 97 honda civic dx model and I'm trying to get it to pass smog. I took for a smog test and everything was good except 2 monitors weren't set yet. I tried to set the readiness using a guide from the honda website. There are 2 monitors that my odbII meter said was incomplete, which was the O2 sensor and EVAP. All of the others were already set. I ran this twice and nothing changed. I haven't disconnected the battery in about 1200 miles. There are no error codes or check engine light. I check the readiness daily and its always the same, the same 2 monitors are always incomplete. Any clue as to why this isn't working or what I should do next? I just bought a used 97 Honda Civic that drives perfectly. The driver s side window doesn't move however. I opened up the door and found that the window regulator was broken (the cable inside had snapped.) I bought a brand new regulator and when I plug it in and press the window switch, the regulator doesn't move at all. What can the problem be? I know that the switch is getting power because the old window motor turns when plugged in. I know that window motors on newer cars need to be initialized. Is this the case for my 97 civic as well? So I'm curious as to which style of bike is the most reliable. Cruiser, sports bike, dirt bike (street legal). Not I can already hear the people saying there are too many factors involved to tell but I doubt that is true. Stats can be made for everything. But to simplify this let's take a brand that makes all 3, like honda. You get a cruiser, a sports bike, and a dirt bike all of equal displacement and brand new. You ride each 50 miles to work and back on 55mph back roads every day during summertime. (All dealer recommended maintenance performed) Which is most likely to kick the bucket first? And by kick the bucket I mean it will need major repairs. By major repair I mean it needs the engine to be opened or it needs expensive parts or else it will not run. Thanks for the help! Hello! I have a 2001 Honda Shadow Ace (VT750CD). My brakes work but need new pads. The front wheel is already off from something else I was doing. The problem is that the caliper pistons are sticking out a little bit, maybe 1/4 inch. With the new pads installed, there isn't enough room for the rotor to go inbetween so I need to push the pistons in some but I can't just push them in. Is there a problem with the pistons? While I have everything removed, I might as well clean the caliper. Can someone please explain the steps? Should I: Unbolt caliper Pump brake until pistons begin to come out more Grip and remove pistons Clean the bore and sand pistons Put waterproof brake grease on pistons before installing again Push them all the way in flush before installing new brake pads ? I've taken my car to La twice and no problems whatsoever! My car hasn't had any serious problems. The only thing wrong that mechanics have noticed was a tiny crack on my alternator belt. But it has never caused any problems. My parents are trying to convince me not to take it since it's old and some other things about the mileage. In the front there's 4 vents where air comes out from and the two in the middle don't blow air out but the two on the driver and passenger side do blow out air. My uncle has a 2003 Honda, a 1910 Ford Model T, and he has a 1951 Cadillac. All of which had been parked in his garage since 2004. Well just recently he wanted to pull them out because he wanted to see if they started up. So far the Model T started up wonderfully once we put new gas in the tank, and the same went for the Cadillac: started up beautifully. The Honda on the other hand did not start up. Apparently the heat had made nearly everything electrical (including buttons) unusable, therefore nothing electrical will work on the car. So the car won't start. He was told that it would cost about $1000 to fix the car in electrical part replacement. Why is this? Even with newer cars this is the issue. If something breaks on it(usually electrical), you need a special guy with a special tool that works a special job fix it. With older cars all you need to do is go to Advanced Auto and pick up a part, or go on Ebay to find the part. Or go to a car show and find a part there. And you alr...

I've never driven a car before. But I will be taking taking drivers education sometime this month and getting my drivers license this year. I'm an adult and my job requires travelling. Logic tells me that summer is the best time to buy a car because of the condition of the road which would mean safer driving for me as an inexperienced driver. Its a 2012 honda fit, i was trying to get on the freeway from a dead stop, with no shoulder in about 30 feet, so i had to use the limited shoulder to get speed up, so i put my car in "sport" mode, and floored it from a dead stop, i watched the rpm guage go from a little under 1, to 5 in a few secs, but then i was at 40 with no one behind me so i let off the gas a little but the car was still at about 5,500 rpms, then i saw a car switch from the middle to slow lane going the speed limit so i needed to go faster so i gave it about 3/4 throttle and the rpm guage went like 500 rpms into the red zone, luckly i saw and let off the gas, so it was only there for about a second. I have a 2006 mazda 3 i touring sedan with a 5 speed manual. my question is compared to other 4 cylinder vehicles is it slow? for example if a 1998 nissan altima gxe, honda crv and a 2007 camry le and a 2008 honda accord where on the track, how would a 2006 mazda 3i do against these other 4 cylinder vehicles that are larger. Hello. I'm currently having an issue with my 05 Honda Civic EX where my car seems to shudder/jerk (as if the car hesitates to accelerate) from 2nd gear and above between 2000-4000rpms. The check engine light is on and I've checked the codes with the OB2 Scanner and they result with P0300-P0304 (engine misfires). So I've changed the spark plugs and engine coils, but the problem still occurs. The drive has me a bit worried since the check engine light would flash on and off for a few seconds then stay on, rarely. Any suggestions or help would be gladly appreciated. Thank You! I have a 1974 Honda MT125 Elsinore I'm wanting to get back on the road. It was a gift from my uncle but when I received it everything had been torn off of it. I got it back to running (rebuilt engine). I do have a title which is a big plus but am now toward the end of getting stuff like the blinkers working (and switch) and battery hooked up. Ok so I drive a five speed 2002 Honda Civic lx. I was driving it one day and I couldn t get over 20 mph without the rpms shooting yo way high. So I pulled over and opened the hood and there was this little rubber housing, smaller than an apple. That had smoke coming from it and it smelled burnt and bad. There's some sort of metal part in the rubber housing but I'm not a car guy so i don't know what it is. Anyway, its lower to the ground and closer to the front, and it's across from this fan that s behind the front bumper. I can't for the life of me figure out what's wrong. There aren t any noises when I drive, I just have to feather the gas in a low gear or my rpms shoot up like crazy. I can't even drive it anymore. Long story short, I recently bought a beautiful 1976 Honda 550 Super Sport, and am trying to fully restore it. The bike seems to be in great condition as far as the frame an parts go, but it is not running (Consistently) yet. The engine turns over, and I have been able to get it running via push start (but the bike only got into 3rd gear and had little power). I would like to get this thing running well, but am new to the motorcycle scene and need some help! Background info:This bike has been sitting for quite a few years and has never been rebuilt. The odometer reads 19000 miles. I have cleaned the carburetors, replaced the fuel filters, purchased a new battery, and replaced the starter, but the bike still is not running well. I'm debating between Honda CR-V and Pilot. CR-V gets great gas mileage but only has a 4 cylinder 184hp engine which seems under-powered for such a large car. Pilot has V6 280hp engine but much worse MPG. Currently I own a 4 cylinder car and I get what they are saying. The lack of power especially while merging on the freeway and climbing hills always makes me nervous and even scared sometimes when a semi is right on my bumper. I have a job but it's so boring, I rarely have work so I have to extended some of my work for 3-4 days out just to have something to do everyday. If I finished all my work in one day I would have non fo the rest of the week.
