Dealership Advice Please!

So, I had a bad experience at the El Monte Honda.

They have a summer special, a lease for the Accord LX for $109 + tax per month, for $3500 down payment with the drive-off/tax/documentation fees. I need a new vehicle and it looked very attractive and affordable so I went to the dealership to discuss it with them.

When I got there I simply told them that I'm not looking to walk away with the car today, but I'd like to know what the price would look like with all the tax included so I can be prepared to bring everything when I do come and agree to the lease. They told me they needed to do a credit check which I agreed too, and even then they wouldn't give me the paper that gave me the accurate numbers.

I went through three salesman. One of which was the director of sales and they kept sizing me up. When the director of sales finally came to talk to me, he told me that with my credit check it would be about $200, plus some pre-package stuff and the alarm… I asked why it was so high and he said it was cause of those two options. I told him I didn't need it and then he told me that he'd get rid of the alarm which got rid of the $30. I was baffled that even with all that it came out to be $170, and he didn't even give me actual crunched numbers, so I just got up and left.

I don't know for most of you but is this shady or what? Am I overreacting?

Any tips or advice to get what I want from the dealership? Anything would help.
