Most of the customers and clients who call in are reasonably civil, professional, and polite--even in the event of a serious complaint that would have the common average Joe yelling profanities. However, for the past month, I have been on the receiving end of some particularly nasty abuse from one specific customer. When he discusses his issue about God-knows-what-now, he constantly feels the need to mention his money: "Listen to me--I spent $180,000 on this vehicle. I have given you people well over $5 million in the past 30 years I have been doing business with you!" which has later escalated to personal remarks like "That's why I commandeer a $1.2 million salary while you get paid $9 bucks an hour to drive to work in a 1997 Honda Civic to take my calls." I have a 2001 Honda Civic LX, it has the basic A.C. System and non vetec So I changed my oil yesterday and as I was lowering the car it well didn't stay on the jack the whole time. It fell off with like 4 inches left to go. Car dropped and bounced alittle, I say ohh fiddle sticks and then get in the car and drive it off. Two things happened, the power steering had to be refilled, it started sqeeling bad, didn't look like it leaked, I just had to add some fluid and its working fine now 3 days later The second thing that happened and I actually noticed this right after it dropped and I started the car is the interior fans doesn't work, I turn the dial and nothing happens. I turn the vent position knob and I can hear the vents turn, if I turn the temp up or down I can hear the servos turning. I stop at quick lube for oil change- they say air pressure it too high… Maybe 35 -38 pounds. They lower it to 30. Then I look on the tire and it says max press- 51 pounds! What is it supposed to be? Hi everyone. I recently purchased a used 2003 honda civic hybrid. Everytime I accelerate from a complete stop, the car rumbles then goes. If the car is cruising and i give it gas it accelerates fine. This only happens if I come to a complete stop and then accelerate. It feels as though as the wheels spin too fast and can't grip the road. But it rumbles even when I go like 1 mph. I understand that these cars have integrated motor assist but could that be maybe trying to rotate the wheels too soon? Can I disable IMA? Plus I've noticed that the rpm almost always stays around 3k no matter how fast I'm going. Also it seems the longer I drive the car the less rumble/violent shaking the car has. I noticed that I have a whining sound when I turn my car on and it is really noticeable when I turn the steering wheel. I looked up some other solutions and some people say that the power steering O-ring could be the issue and some say just to change the power steering pump. I'm kind of lost right now. My Honda Shadow broke down on the interstate on a flat surface on the median. Costs a ton to tow it and I just need to get it into my truck and I have a motorcycle ramp. This things heavy. I have a Honda with185,000 miles on it. It needs new tores soon but i'm not sure which tires to buy. There are tires rated for 100k miles and some rated for less like 40 or 60k miles. Is it best to pay a little more for longer tread life or is it cheaper to go with cheaper tires initially but they have avshorter tread life. I plan to keep the car for a long time. This mystery continues. The latest diagnosis is that there's a fuse, maybe blue in color and the car owner told me it was blue. When th is fuse is removed or put back in there's a fan that comes on when the engine is not running. I thought we had established that this fan auto comes on to cool the engine that has been turned off. A thermostat causes the fan to turn off. The car owner swears that one day the car started. Then the next day it would not and AAA and one other person think it is some fuse. The car is being towed to the same mechanic it visited last month. I personally know that the battery is not fully charged and only 385cca. These people are trying to cure a battery drain with a battery that is not fully charged. My idea which is not being accepted is to take the damn battery to Autozone for a free overnight charge to get the battery which is less than a year old to be as close to one hundred per cent as possible. Completely out of ideas so maybe someone can help! Got my 07 Honda CRF 80F back up & running after a few years sitting there at my folks house while I lived out of state. Petcock assembly, lines, spark plug, fuel, oil changed. Carb cleaned, jets triple checked, lines, the whole works. Getting fuel, getting spark, idle was nice low & perfect. Running great no hesitation nothing! Take it out for a 10 mile ride out in the desert no problems at all. I let it sit maybe a week & a half just will not start even tried the ol bump start, nothing. Compression has always seemed low never had a problem kicking over until now. Still gets spark, yadda yadda. Only thing I did notice was an unusually large amount of fuel coming into air filter area. I got a 2016 honda fit a couple months ago and I've driven it a lot. I have a about 6-7,000 miles on it. I accidentally ran over a curb yesterday and about 2 mins after, my car said my oil level was low. I thought i might have cracked something underneath. But then, in the process of fixing the light the Dealership wrecked my car. They gave me a rental car and replaced my bumper. Hi. I have a Honda EB-12D Diesel Generator. When turned on, it is s"spraiyng" what appears to be diesel from a "coupling" at the top left area (inside the air intke grill, at the front of-but very close to the muffler. The diesel sprays from such area, and a little even collects/pools inside. I thought I have overfilled the diesel tank, but removed approximately 2 gallons, and the issue continued. Would anyone with experience on the shaft driven Honda shadow phantom please tell me if it is enough for interstate travel on occasion. I would like to take it on a couple of trips and just would like to know your top speed before any modifications and if it can do 85 or 80 comfortably before I make the purchase. Added (1). I have a 2013 Honda CBR 500 with 13,000 miles on it. I'm trying to sell it on Craigslist and letgo. The bike runs and rides great, with somewhat new tires. However the right handlebar is slightly bent towards the gas tank, the clutch cover is scratched, bar end cap is gone on left handlebar, NO mirrors, left side fairing is pretty scratched up, and the right fork seal needs to be replaced… Plus additional minor cosmetic damage. don't get me wrong the bike still looks pretty dang good and it starts up with ease. I paid $4200 for it a couple years ago it had only 1800 miles. Now it has 13,000 miles plus all the cosmetic issues listed in the above paragraph. Hello, My Civic EP2 recently got a reconditioned gearbox and clutch last year. Prior to getting the work done, it would make a sort of hissing noise when the clutch pedal was released. After getting the gearbox and clutch replaced, the noise stopped. Fast Forward a year, the noise has started to come back, and is really starting to bug me. Car overheated when a hose exploded and coolant leaked out. Temp was red hot, i pull over immediately to cool engine. What coolant was left in the car looked normal. I did not check the oil. Next day drove the car up a tow truck ramp; it started just fine with no odd sounds, etc - ran was ran for 10 sec maybe. When i checked the car at home it had no oil, not one drop came out during the oil change. The car would not start/stalled. It turned over and almost started once. The pistons smoothly move and push forcefully, but the car low compression. I have a 99 Honda accord EX 4 cylinder, I know I'm suppose to let the car warm up before driving so i usually let it warm up for a minute or 2 and start driving. But every once in a while when i slow down or stop, and then push the gas pedal to continue driving it shuts off. And sometimes when I slow down or stop, the car rumbles a bit and shuts off. Say that someone wanted to buy a 25'000 dollar new car, such as a Honda Civic or a Toyota Corolla. The person has a couple of high limit credit cards with no balance. Could it be beneficial to buy the car outright with the credit cards as opposed to dealer financing? Because I see 3 benefits of this. 1. The minimum monthly payments on the credit card will likely be significantly lower than a monthly car payment. 2. If you fall into any financial difficilty and default on payments, no one can repossess your car. 3. On a more unrelated note, if you don't plan on buying anything on credit for the next several years, you could pay on the credit cards for six months or so, then declare bankruptcy, and you've got yourself a brand new car for about a thousand bucks spent. There's so much I would like to know. I would like to buy a car for work. I'm willing to finance. But I know nothing about the process and I don't want to be taken advantage of by dealers. I looked on autorader.com and saw a Honda Accord 2008 model with 120,000km and it is being sold for $9,000. Do I just send a message to the dealer that I would like to buy the car and then follow up from there or do I try to negotiate a lower price? Also, how do I go about getting a loan from the bank or should I just do it all through the dealer? I make $2000 dollars a month. My only expenses are rent which cost $450 a month and groceries which cost $400 a month. So I would have at least a $1000 dollars left a month and I live in Canada. I have a stock 3.8 V6 Grand Prix and want it to sound like a stronger car and not a Honda would a muffler delete be good or will I have to do more like a resonator delete too. I have heard someone say this and I doubt it. My parents are very wealthy and I knew that I had more resources. I knew that my summer vacations were fancier than some kids. On the other hand, I had a few friends from very poor families. They knew WHY their parents worked 24/7 and WHY they almost always only had a one-room basement as shelter. I think children will eventually notice some differences between them and their peers. Unless you shelter your child, they will find out that others have some things differently. I'm sure celebrity children know that they have same-aged counterparts who are not famous. I'm a college student. I have online assignments that are due wednesday. So i need to finish them Tuesday at college campus because i don't have internet home. The problem is that hurricane irma will hit Tuesday night and i need 30 minuets driving to reach home, should i take a chance and stay at the 24 hours lab. Even though the college will be closed but i can access to the lab by using my card at any time. I'm really concerning about driving a honda fit during the hurricane as it's too low and too small. I recently took my car in to Meineke for some starter issues and he checked all my connections and it was doing fine, but I do need a new starter apparently. But I'm worried he bumped something when checking the connections. Now when I start the D4 light is blinking and doesn't stop. Is it my transmission or a connection of some sort? I bought a used 2006 Honda Civic Sedan with 90,000 miles on it a week ago. After buying, I brought the car to my mechanic for an oil change. He informed me the front struts were shot and that they needed to be replaced. I had only had the car 3 days when I found this out. That means the dealership sold me the car with bad front struts and one of them is actually shot. They are claiming that the warranty doesn't cover the repair because it's considered "wear and tear". But does that matter if they sold me the car in that condition? It's not like this happened 2 months down the road, I just bought the car and these problems were there when they sold it to me. So I have a 99 Honda Accord that recently wouldn't (or would barely) start. The lights would come on and the car would click but it wouldn't turn over (I think that's the right term). I got it to start eventually and AutoZone said that it was the starter. This car has a bunch of leaks too and I'm pretty sure the transmission is about to go out on it (when leaving a parking spot it sometimes just coasts out and won't kick into gear/get umph). I'm thinking it's time for me to just get a new reliable car and not spend any more money on this (I've spent at least 800 this year on breaks, radiator hoses, etc.). I think I'm done. Recently this one friend always bring up " your dad brought your ****" for no reason. It pisses me off sometimes. Okay so I just bought an 88 Honda Accord 5 speed. I love it! The guy before me maintained it really well and it drives great. The engine looks good and everything on it is awesome. One problem though that he said he never figured out and neither can I. He was an older guy so and didn't have much time for the car anymore so I'm sure he didn't look that far into it. In the morning, and after the car has been cooled down for a few hours, when I start it, it won't stay on. I have to start in first gear and drive it instantly for it to stay on until it warms up and then it gives me no problem. What could this be. I though maybe a spark plug but the guys said he had it tuned recently and I also get regular oil changes. So I'm driving and when the engine gets hot my car starts to putter? Stall? As I begin to stop my car acts like it's loosing power and begins puttering and turns off. I could turn my vehicle on I can go about 1 mile. Every time I come to a stop it continues to do as stated before. But a couple of more times the check engine light comes on and I have to let my car cool down (which on hot days it's usually at night). I know it sounds weird, but, I just recently bought a 2007 Honda Civic that has an aux adapter. I used to drive a 95 Explorer that had a cassette tape player, and I used to use a cassette to aux adapter and play music from my phone into it. But, I did use to play some old AC/DC and Lynyrd Skynyrd cassette tapes in my car. I was wanting to know, is there a way I could find an aux to cassette adapter or something like that? I know that's one heck of a long shot, but, I'm just curious. This ain't really a huge kick in the nuts to me as I can just download the albums online and play them through my phone into the aux.
