Would it be possible to transport a yamaha scooter in a Honda CRV with the seats down?

Hey guys I bought a Yamaha Zuma 50c scooter back in my home town but need to bring it back to boston- The CRV does not have a trailer hitch and is a lease. Is it possible to remove the handle bars and wheels on the scooter and strap down inside of the CRV? I have seen photos with the seat removed ETC
