Long term rentals seem to be about $1200+ which is a lot more than what i would like to spend. My girlfriend does a year lease of a 2018 honda and pays under 400 a month i believe. I have a 2002 Honda Civic sedan. Lately, I've noticed tires spinning when I accelerate on wet pavement or try to accelerate quickly. Of course, if I take it to a garage, they are going to try to sell me tires. With winter coming, I'm concerned about them, but do not want to invest in a whole set of tires on a car I may be trading in next year. Any suggestions? I bought a 95 Accord. They lost theoriginal key and go an new one( not a new ignition). I drove It from there on home no problem, I hooked up the radio/system and cleaned it out found an after market toggle switch hidden under the drivers dash. I don't know wh then it went to. Anyways. I again drove to the car it crunk no by problem. This time when driving I would start to feel like I was slipping I like it would get to about 35-45 mph to then have no acceleration. As if it slipped out of gear. I could put the car in park take the key completely out the ignition, reinsert it start the car and put it in drive and I think would drive again for five mins or so. And I would have to repeat it. Stop car, put in park, take key out ignition, reinsert crank and put in gear. Well in addition when I turn the car off the anti theff I'm assuming kicks in and the horn Blair's (alarm) and yeah so I dis connected the horn. I have a 1998 CRV 4WD that began to vibrate in the steering wheel and also felt like it had a flat tire. It turned out to be a warped tire that had a bump in it. I replaced it with my spare then some weeks later bought new tires. She rode great after this except for some vibration deep in the steering wheel that did not affect how it rode. Weeks after replacing them, just a few days ago the feeling of flat tire came back. I've inspected all of my tires and will conduct a test on them to see if a wheel is bent tomorrow. It's hard to explain, but when I switch around the air flow with my cars dial thing, direction doesn't change. For example, when I set it to feet vents only, it ll come out of front head vent and defroster. If I switch to primarily defroster, it will still come out of both vents. I recently bought a 2015 Honda Accord with 30K miles on it. Some weeks back I found that someone had left a banana peel on the hood. Today I find that the left side, back door has been scratched as well as scratches above the fuel tank. The door scratches are somewhat deep and look like someone used a key. But the scratches above the fuel tank in one place has paint chipping off, and in another place there are white or silver marks as if something rubbed off against it. I just bought a used 2013 Honda Civic. The second day I was driving it I got a warning saying check Tire pressure management system. The car had new tires put on it just before I purchased it so from what I see on the internet, the system just needs to be recalibrated to adjust to the new tires. I looked on YouTube and in all the videos they say you can do it yourself by going to >menu >settings >TMPS >calibrate Unfortunately TPMS is not an option in my car under settings. Has my car been tinkered with or is it possible that not all 2013 civics have this feature? It's an EX. When I called the people I bought the car from they said not all civics have this feature and one of my tires probably just needs air because it's gotten cooler out recently. Does this sound right? I recently purchased a 2003 1.7L 5 speed Honda Civic. It is in amazing condition and I only have one issue that I haven't been able to diagnose. I was having trouble getting up hills and past 20 mph and then on the highway it stopped accelerating. I also was having trouble getting it into 2nd gear, it would grind hard. So I got it towed to the shop and they can't even inspect it because it won't drive at all. The car is a 1998 Nissan Altima gxe, which I saw for sale. The car I'm comparing it to is my 2003 Honda Element Automatic. Both are equipped 4 speed automatics. Both of them have 130,000 miles. However the biggest difference between these two is the curb weight and the aerodynamic drag. The manufacturer specs claims 150 how, 154 ft lbs torque on the Altima. The Honda produces 160 how, 161 ft lbs torque. Clearly on paper, the Honda produces more power but my question is how would the Honda do against the Nissan on the freeway? In terms of acceleration, handling and overall performance? Can it keep up with this older car? My truck is a 2003 Honda Element 4 speed automatic. Whenever I get on the Freeway where the speed limit is 65 mph, most people rocket down the highway doing AT LEAST 75 MPH and traveling as fast as 90 mph! It's on a parkway though that extends for as long as 20 miles. The problem with my truck is when I approach speeds of 65 mph and higher, the steering starts to vibrate and I have to keep the steering straight with a bit of force. Wind restistance has not been an issue despite my truck being non aero dynamic. My question is how significant are the control arm and sway link bar bushings to my car? Will it improve my cars handling in Corners and highway cruising speeds? Also one more question. Will lowering my truck by a good .5-1" How can I achieve my car reach it's top speed a little quicker? I'm asking this because one time when I was on the interstate highway, particularly on the overpass which which extended as long as 2.5 miles, there were literatally no car...
