I hit my brakes really hard, ended up having underside scratches on the front bumper - left side. Should i be worried about something else?

I drive a honda civic 2018 EX… I have taken care of it ever since i got it in january… No problems. I park far away from cars. And it honestly breaks my heart that now i have underside scratches on my car. Its just not a good feeling…
here is the story: yesterday i was driving traffic, the car infront of me made a sudden halt… I hit my brakes super hard because i did not want to hit the car… I can accept some of the blame because i should have had more distance… But when i hit my breaks, i could feel something really loud underneath… Excuse me if i don't know the appropriate terms for car particles. So when i heard that scrape noise my heart sank
anyway, there's only scratches on the left underside of my front bumper but nowhere else… Why would that be? Should i be worried about anything else? What else could have been scraped? My engine? Did someone modify my car suspension? Only had one oil change so far…
anyway i'm paranoid… I told my father - he laughed at me and said i'm worried about nothing… Its not funny to me
should i file a report? Should i go back to my dealership and ask them to check it out?
after my oil change i did have a low pressure tire light that came on - i got that fixed… I don't know what to basically… Please help me out.
