I have a 2016 Honda Accord with an automatic transmission, my issue is that it is hard to shift from Park to Drive sometimes?
Added (1). Also, I took it to the dealer and they changed the transmission fluid. So should I wait a little while until it smooths out, it still feels a little rough. Thanks Guys.
(My car has about 20,000 miles and is my daily local commuter car.
Added (2). Sorry forgot to add, if anyone was confused, it was a transmission fluid change not a flush, just to make sure.

Manual vs automatic?

I've driven both. I still prefer automatic. Don't get me wrong manual is fun to drive but it's not as fast or not very practical anymore. What's your opinion on both? If you could choose one over the other which would you choose. I have a manual but it's way harder work for little return. I just don't see it. I'm thinking of getting an automatic. What's a smater investment?

I do have the money for a newer car, $18,000, or I can buy my moms car from her, $5,000. The thing is her car is 10 years old and I'm not sure how much longer its got, everyone says I don't need a more expensive car because "its just my first car", but I don't want to waste $5,000 on a vehicle thats going to break down a lot quicker, vs. A 2014 vehicle that will cost me more now but will also last a lot longer. So which one would be "smarter" to put my money towards, the older Honda thats cheaper (gets 18mpg, 120,000 miles) or the newer Toyota that I can afford (30mpg, 30,000 miles)?
