So I bought this 04 civic and it would over heat and would stop blowing heat I replaced thermostat with one from autozone I found the thermostat it had was cut so go figure so after replacing it would still overheat I took it to a shop they said that thermostat was no good so they replaced it car was fine for 3 days and again it started over heating and no heat I noticed lower coolant hose was cold before replacing thermostat myself then those 3 days after shops thermostat hose would be hot. So recently i've financed my first car with my parent being the co signer. I got a 2001 Honda Civic with 188,000 miles. I don't know much about cars but i knew that it was old and had a lot of mileage but at the time i needed a car to have transportation to school which i live 30 minutes from. (lets call him Jim) I gave jim a down payment of $1,200 within 2 weeks i started having trouble with the car. It started to run hot. I took it to him and he said that my timing change and water pump was bad. I have to pay half of the expenses $200 it was in the document agreement that i pay 50/50 of what expenses cost. So I'm looking at buying a 2010 Volvo S80 3.2 non turbo. This car is beautiful and whoever owned it before took good care of it. It has 141 thousand miles. Hey guys, I ride a 2011 CBR 250R，Recently I have been having a problem with losing power during first and second gears around the low-mid RPM's. It happens when I accelerate at a quicker speed it feels like the power cuts (which engine braking occurs) and then it accelerates again after 1 or 2 seconds. It usually occurs when I have 1 or 2 bars of fuel left so i believe it might be a problem with the fuel or petrol. I have been filling my tank with the normal petrol required at well known gas stations in my area. I have recently had this problem but after servicing the motorcycle (a few weeks ago), it was a problem with the air filter being very clogged and dirty, after servicing it was fine, and then this started happening recently. anyone have any idea what the problem is? I did email honda and they said my chains and sprockets may be the cause to it and they need to be replaced, I'm looking to replace them but I'm afraid if after replacing them, the same p...

So I just got my first bike the other day from a dealership. They have done maintainence on it so I don't think it's anything mechanical with my bike. But I've noticed when I come to a complete stop in 1st gear the bike just shuts off on its own. I've stalled it while shifting into 2nd and third a few times and it doesn't feel like its stalling when this happens, the bike doesn't lurch forward or anything, it simply just shuts off. Hi all… I have a Honda Civic 2009 and all the controls on the steering wheel no longer work I think the clock spring is broken and I think it will be very expensive to get fixed. I don't use the radio controls or the cruse control anyway. So I was thinking about buying and wiring up a horn safety and securely with a a 12v battery And a switch on the dashboard to pass the MOT… would this be an MOt fail? Can you have a horn on your dash board or is it compulsory to have it on the steering wheel? Is a clock spring hard to replace? Any tips I would really appreciate thanks Any idea of the cost to have it replaced or should I just wire up a horn? P.s I've checked all fuses it's not a fuses or relay problem? I've gotten under it 3 times now (03 Honda Pilot) and can't find where it's coming from. ALL bushings appear to be intact, can't move links, sway bar, tie rods. Wheels do not tick, whine, squeal, squeak or pop when I turn them. Tried to bounce it from top AND from underneath, not a sound. But, when I go over bumps, most ones where the wheels have to drop, rather than rise, it knocks and rattles. Engine does not have excessive movement in gear. The only problem I found underneath was the Inner CV boots are leaking. I don't have a jack so I didn't and can't jack it up. Is it possible it's CV axles causing it? When I press the brake, while in park, I hear a click in the steering column. I really would like to have a more rugged vehicle like the Honda element or the Toyota FJ Cruiser are perfect. EXCEPT they get terrible gas mileage and the entertainment center is not up to par. My new-used 2012 Honda Fit won't recognize an android phone through USB. From what I can tell, it's because androids use a different file organization system than iPhones/iPods. The car does NOT have Bluetooth. I know aux cord is an option but I want the phone to connect to the volume and channel buttons on the steering wheel. I've already tried to debug USB through developer options on my phone. It doesn't help. Is there any app I can download to fix this? I'm not a transmission guy. Let's just get that outta the way first. I bought a 2002 Honda Accord that the lady said needed a transmission. In the trunk were dozens of empty fluid bottles, I forget what kind they were but I specifically remember they weren't what it called for. The fluid looks very bad but the transmission does NOT slip. The problem it has is that it has to be shifted manually, like stop, shift down into 1, 2, d3, d4 etc. Otherwise it tries to start out in 4th which is where I would assume the burnt fluid came in to play. I removed the shift solenoids and cleaned them, and it drove perfect for about 5 minutes. The transmission shop here in town said it's shot, and he wouldn't do a flush on it, but I think if I flush it and maybe replace those solenoids, it would last at least until I'm in a better financial spot to actually fix it. I also have a 2013 VW Golf TDI trade-in with an odometer of 17,600 miles that they appraised as $12,000, but still have payments on it worth $8,600. Okay so My dream car is a 2017 Honda Civic si. I've always wanted a si since high school. I'm 20 years old with no credit but my grandpa as always told me if I wanted that car then I need to come up with $2500 and he will let me cosine with him (he has perfect credit). I don't know about you guys but don't you think I need a little more than $2500 since the car is $25,000? And plus I don't want my payments to be like $600 a month, the maximum payment a month I would prefer is $300 but nothing above that. I'm currently leasing a 2016 Toyota Corolla, it was a three year lease I have about 6 months to go. It seems pretty difficult to terminate your lease early after reading my contract. I have received a few letters in the mail from different car dealers. In the letters the different dealers have all offered to pay off what I owe in exchange for a new car from their dealership. Hey guys, So whilst riding on the road I glanced down and found my speedometer was completely off, The Bike was still running fine, I could shift gears, accelerate, brake just fine, just the speedometer looked as if the bike was off. I stopped on the side and turned the bike off and back on but it was still completely lifeless. The turn signals weren't working, The hooter wasn't working and I believe the brake lights weren't working either. The low beam and high beam lights were fine though. I'm planning to get it seen in the next few days but just wanted to see if anyone might know the fix to it if it could possibly be just a small issue or something might just be unplugged or something. My 2007 Honda CR-V is having problems with the engine light and VSA coming on. Once I accelerate the car will start to buck. The first time it happened I was on a highway and let go of the gas and it stopped. I took it for an oil change at the dealership because i thought thats what was caused the engine light to come on. When they returned my car the light was off. A week later it did it again. First the Check engine light came on with the VSA light and another all at the same time. Once I got on the highway and started to accelerate it started to buck again. This time i tried the same as before to let go of the gas give a couple of sec. And accelerate again. My car (Honda pilot 2011) has a 1/2/3 setting on the car and if I use that while driving will I damage anything? I typically use it when I'm driving for fun and shift it at red line and then shift it back into drive at the end of 3rd gear.
