Over the last year my check engine light has come on about 3 or 4 times for a few days at a time and then turns off again for a very long period of time. I know the code means my catalytic converter is below threshold but why would it turn off? Could it be something else? Should I look into replacing it or wait it out? Any advice is appreciated! Was involved in an accident just recently. Hit a pick up truck and no damage was done, but my 2007 Honda Accord Sedan had damage in the front, the hood area, and stuff is bent around the coolant area. Hood hard to close when popped Some leakage after returning from auto shop. We were okay, no info exchanged. Questions: 1. I have AAA insurance, will my premium go high? Been in an accident before at the end of 2016 with my fault and insurance was involved, premium rose. $500 deductible I think. Don't want on my record, so stay away from insurance?  2. Looking to get a little more power out of my 98 honda accord. By no means am I trying to make it a rice-rocket or any sort of streetracer, everything else is stock and will stay that way. Its just the passing power is so bad! Getting on the freeway takes almost all its got. Hello, I'm turning 16 soon and I have about 17k saved up. I have insurance and gas money planned out, so I will spend 15k or less on a car. I searched through YouTube, but they only recommended older sportier cars, but I want something more simple and newer. However, I'm not a big fan of Toyota camrys and Honda Civics, as I'm not a big fan of "family cars." (Also, my parents have both of them). I prefer something like the Chevy Malibu or Chrysler 200. 2001 honda accord. The AC is blowing cold but not cold enough to the point if its over 90 degrees its better to have the window open. I recharged the freon, gauges say everything is good, compressor works perfectly, both condenser fans work perfectly. The only other possible cause I found was the cabin air filter needing replacement. The process for even checking the filter is complicated on my car and I do not have the expertise to check. I'm unsure what bike to buy… I have been looking at the Honda Grom for practical reasons (MPG, reliable etc) but i love the look of the Keeway Superlight and is the design style I imagined myself riding. I just finished university and live in the countryside currently but i will probably move to London after my gap year. On the gap year however, I'm going on a 5 month adventure around Europe. I'm not adverse to fixing my own bike, i'm aware the Keeway has mixed reviews but i really know very little about motorbikes. Will I be missing out on a biker experience if i got the grom? Should i just save for the grom if i did go to london? Is the grom actually fine in all aspects or is there another bike you would recommend… Opinions? Thanks in advance. Added (1). I don't want to sound selfish or anything but, I recently finished school and found a well paying job at a law firm. I have ti pay off 3 years worth of student loans. So my dad comes in and tells me "I will pay for half of your loans", and I told him that I don't want him or my mom paying any of it because they may ask me to do something for them in the future and when I don't want to do it then they are going to be like "well I helped you pay for…". I have a 2007 Honda Civic that I just bought used from a private seller. Being the idiot that I'm, I trusted the seller and long story short, 2 days after finally purchasing the car, check engine light came on along with IMA light. Freaked out took it to autozone and the codes read P1570 (battery module individual voltage problem) and P0A7F (battery module deterioration). I'm assuming this has something to do with the hybrid battery but I could be wrong. Honestly, I don't understand what these codes really mean. Did a lot of research but I'm not getting the answer that I need/looking for. My main, most important question is can I still drive this car with no problems until I replace the battery? If so, how long roughly? And what is actually wrong with the car (is it the hybrid battery or the regular battery)? I have a 2001 honda civic 1.7L SOHC VTEC. I changed the timing belt, water pump, radiator w/fans, thermostat, head gasket, but the car is still overheating. Main issue I'm having that is noticeable is that coolant keeps on bursting out of the radiator like a volcano; (bubbling) with the fan kicking in. It doesn't cool down. Any help will be appreciated. My friends mom bought fluid for a Honda, but I drive a Hyundai. The gears are shifting hard and the check engine light came on and it's because of the transmission oil temperature sensor. But how do I fix that besides the sensor? I've probably driven no more than 30 miles on the wrong fluid. Is there a way that can be fixed? Will I be able to drain it and replace the filter and use the right fluid? Because I have a feeling that that's why it's shifting hard. Although at first it was because I was low on fluid. Reason I'm coming this is my friends dad took me for a on one of these vans for a ride when I didn't have my credit at thaat the and I was surprised by how torquey it was of the line. It gets up to speed effortlessly for it's size and considering it's only the BASE model. I myself have a 2003 Honda Element which has 161 ft lbs of torque whereas this van has a whopping 265 ft lbs torque for a small displacement engine! Is this van as quick as my element (of the line)? I have a 2003 Honda Element with the 4 speed EX awd. Recently i took my car on a cruise and luckily I happen to find a long stretch of a road that had NO TRAAFFIC other than just plain flat aspalt, I decided to see how fast the car was able to go. After the test, I was not really pleased with the results of my car. I had to Floor the as just to get it a tad past 95 mph. But according to the performance specs online, they claim that this car has a governor of 110 mph. My question is can the Honda Element actually reach that speed? I know this truck has the aerodynamics of a brick could that be the reason why it can't exceed 100 mph. Cuz around town/local highway speeds it is not slow by any means and has plenty of get up and go. Yone ever did a test on the top speed of this truck. This truck has been great to me so far. Hello I have a 2001 honda accord and for some reason second gear doesn't work at all I have to drive fast up until past 20 mph so that 3rd gear catches. When I put the car on 2 it doesn't move at all… Is there a sensor I could change… I already checked the shifting solenoid and solenoids A and B they're fine. It's just second gear. The factory radio in my 2002 Honda Civic lost all power randomly out of no where. I was trying to set the clock, and I was pressing and holding the "6" button, and then it just shut off. The anti-theft light does not blink. I was thinking that it could be the fuse, but so far every fuse problem I have seen has said that the anti-theft light does blink when the fuse is broken. Hello, I have a 2009 Honda Ruckus that won't start reliably. The battery is dead for sure, but the kick start works occasionally. Problem Description -To get it to start I have to take it of of the barn and let it sit in the sun for a few hours. Then I'll have to try and kick start it about 3 or 4 times over the course of the next couple hours - give a couple tries, let it sit for awhile, then try again. Then it will eventually start, and I can ride around (but it will stall at idle within the first few minutes). Troubleshooting- I've never done any maintenance on it, so I want to start there. I found videos on how to change spark plug and coolant, so I will do that today. What are some other troubleshooting steps to try?
