The Type R Civic caught my eyes all thanks to its all angular and sleek designs, DRL lights, modern engine technology and the use of a thinner grade oil that I assume will improve engine performance and fuel economy. I'm assuming it will have great fuel economy due to its turbocharged engine and the transmission mounted next to he engine, despite it being an all wheel drive. I'm talking about the ones from 2017-2019 Everytime I got out on a drive I see maybe 10-15 Civics mostly black ones the LX or EX models. I even see a lot of Uber cars that are civics. My friend said they are cheap which is why people get them but they are also reliable and have outstanding fuel economy. BQ: What kind of car are you driving? So I have a Honda Civic LX. She is 20 years old with about 70,200 miles on her. I bought the car from my grandma about two years ago with about 50,000 miles on her. My sister and I both learned how to drive on her. My grandma drove the car very little in its first 18 years. Since buying her, I Drive it daily to and from work, sometimes twice a day. I usually drive between 8-20miles a day, give or take some. Since buying her two years ago these are the repairs I have gotten done - new muffler - some new belts (not quite sure what they were called - new radiator and water pump - new timing belt (And possibly another thing or two, just can't think of it all) She is now making a rattle sound in certain rpms and a buzzing sound when accelerating. I'm going to take her a mechanic this week, but i'm guessing she needs a new exhaust system/catalytic converters. In your thoughts and opinions, should I spend the money to get her fixed? Or just drive her until sh...

I'm sure hoping so, not looking to great atm but if they can it could make the most interesting year in gp. I have a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid with about 175k miles. I'm the second owner and there's nothing else wrong with it besides the dead hybrid battery. The battery is very expensive to replace and it's honestly just more of a financially smart decision to sell it rather than spending about 2,000 on a new battery. I just want to know what is a decent price to let it go for considering the hybrid battery is dead ultimately making it useless until replaced. Brand new Honda Civic: weird sound on startup? Added (1). I recently bought a new 2019 Civic, and it makes a weird "pew-pew-pew" noise when the engine starts, like a tiny sci-fi laser gun being fired. My Civic stopped (169k miles) while driving and now won't start. When checking codes by OBD II scanner, it shows P303, P304, P300 and P1399 which is misfire. Like on any Honda, Nissan, Chevy is it good? I used the 5W-30 version on my last oil change earlier this month. I did it at a Nissan dealer. He offered the cheaper conventional oil but my personal mechanic I had in the past suggested to always get Mobil 1. The conventional oil was $50 cheaper than Mobil 1. Does it run better with your car? My friend said its a scam and he rarely gets oil changes. He leases a car for 1 year every year so he never really does oil changes. The car was involved in an accident and I just repaired it. The battery is not working (i'm yet to change it) but, there's something else I noticed. Either by using the key fob or manually locking inside. Only the two doors on the passenger side respond. Both driver side and back door simply do not respond. Any ideas? Could it be battery? I bought a new car on June this year, and 2 weeks ago, an incident happened and the car was damaged pretty bad. The car has been fixed and now it looks like new. The incident is not my fault, and I believe it is cause by a defect of the car itself even if the maker, which is Honda, denied it. I probably need a lawyer to talk to them but that is another topic. Now as the car has been repaired once, how do I know if t he car value has dropped? And how much it has dropped. Is there any place I can take the car and evaluate how much its value is? Added (1). The reason I'm asking the questions is that I plan to ask Honda to pay for my financial damage, including the depreciation of the car, my rental car, my insurance deduction, and so on. I have specific numbers for all the others except the depreciation of the car. That is why I want to know if there's anyway to find out.
