8th Gen Civic Owners

This weekend, i'm going to be looking at a 2007 Civic Coupe LX with 175k miles. It is a manual transmission. The asking price is 3500 but i'm going to try to talk him down to 3200. Should I buy it if everything looks good? Originally I wanted a Civic from the year of 96-2000 because the motors are so cheap. Keeping in mind, if i purchase this 07 Civic, I plan on keeping it for a long time. My question is, should I get it and what are things to look for when I go check it out and what type of maintenance will it require? I know that they have timing chains so some of my worries went away. Lastly, are they reliable cars? I know Honda has a great rep for going past 250k miles but I was just wondering how good 8th gens are. Thanks!

Honda civic 07 plate Air Con problems?

I have an 07 plate Honda civic, I just had the air con recharge done today. The mechanic says there's no leaks and the gas is staying in but air won't blow cold. The engine is working as it should and the air is blowing but it's staying warm. Does anyone have any suggestions what it can be that's causing the air to stay warm. Can I replace my OEM non-navigation head unit with a OEM navigation head unit?

The head unit for my 2017 Honda CR-V EX got damaged. Warranty won't cover it, and it will cost $2,000 to replace. I found a used 2017 Honda CR-V head unit online but it is for the trim that includes gps navigation. Can I replace my factory non-navigation with the factory navigation head unit? Even if the navigation won't work, would everything else work the same by just plugging it in?
