08 Honda Civic Engine Swap or Just buy new/used car?

I was a victim of hit and run and never caught the culprit. My car is totaled but the engine is perfectly intact and undamaged. I have a 2008 Honda Civic EX-L with only 96k Miles on it. If i was to buy another civic of the same generation or shell and do an engine swap how much would it cost for the engine swap job? Or should i forget about it and just move onto purchasing a new or new used car?

What's the deal with honda not being able to use coolants with silicates if it makes the coolant better and safer for the engine. Reason?

Is it for a reason or just honda wants our cars to last shortly? Added (1). Any more answers i was checking out that video then checked and notice newer cars don't use the coolant anymore so what's the deal we have to go back to inferior coolant i've read it eats the seals in cars? Roughly how much could I get from selling my hybrid car with a dead hybrid battery?

I have a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid with about 175k miles. I'm the second owner and there's nothing else wrong with it besides the dead hybrid battery. The battery is very expensive to replace and it's honestly just more of a financially smart decision to sell it rather than spending about 2,000 on a new battery. I just want to know what is a decent price to let it go for considering the hybrid battery is dead ultimately making it useless until replaced.
