Is it bad to the health of a car to use the parking break while at a complete stop while I'm still in drive (automatic)?

Example: I'm driving and I come up to a construction scene. One side of the road is closed and they consequently halt traffic for that both sides. Then a guide vehicle moves one lane and then comes for the other. This can take over five minutes while completely stationary. I frequently pull my parking brake while still in drive, however only while at a complete stop with my foot depressing the brake pedal. Once the parking brake is engaged I release the foot brake.

Is this bad for the health of the car? I leave it in Drive so that when traffic begins moving again I can simply disengage the Parking Brake.

2009 Honda Crv New Ac Compressor clutch not engaging

Here is my story. I have been having problems with my AC all summer. I was told I needed a new compressor and condenser. I purchased a spectro (made in China) compressor and condenser. The compressor was engaging on and off continuously and the car was vibrating so I had to return it after two months. I then bought a used Honda compressor and the clutch was skipping while spinning. Finally I surrendered and bought a NEW Honda compressor. The compressor does not come with coil and clutch assembly so I had to purchase them separately. I put them together as shown in the diagram, filled the compressor with 80ML of PAG 46 oil and installed the coil and clutch as shown. Today, I went to my mechanic to put Freon in the system, but the clutch was not engaging. It was not spinning at all. There's power going into the compressor and the compressor is working, just not the clutch. Could I have installed the clutch assembly incorrectly? Is there a certain procedure that I had to follow? The light on my cluster and over head light went out, i'm looking to replace them with LED lights but don't know what sizes of bulbs I need.
