Does it sound like my Car has a petrol leak?

I have a 1999 Honda Accord and there's a really strong smell .Petrol and the petrol gauge is going down far too quickly and it start leaking when I fill it up even though I know its not too full.

I took it to mechanic and he has he has to take the whole gas tank out to see what is the culprict and the way its set up, it wil be very costly so he suggested I get another car? Can I drive this car for 2 more months or would that be too dangerous?
Added (1). I can afford to get it fixed but it might not be worth it as the car has other issues.So I'm going to get a newer car instead

Honda civic 07 plate Air Con problems?

I have an 07 plate Honda civic, I just had the air con recharge done today. The mechanic says there's no leaks and the gas is staying in but air won't blow cold. The engine is working as it should and the air is blowing but it's staying warm. Does anyone have any suggestions what it can be that's causing the air to stay warm. Can I replace my OEM non-navigation head unit with a OEM navigation head unit?

The head unit for my 2017 Honda CR-V EX got damaged. Warranty won't cover it, and it will cost $2,000 to replace. I found a used 2017 Honda CR-V head unit online but it is for the trim that includes gps navigation. Can I replace my factory non-navigation with the factory navigation head unit? Even if the navigation won't work, would everything else work the same by just plugging it in?
