Should I be ashamed of my car?

So I was giving a girl a ride home that I work with tonight. She saw my car and said I need a new car. I drive an 05 malibu. It's grey. It has some stratches and the back door has a huge dent but other then that it looks ok. Its not new. One of my uncle's gave it to me like 2 or 3 years. Now I just really want a brand new Honda Accord or a camry 2017 or 2018. Its expensive but I do need something I can ride in be proud of. Would you feel this way also?

What's the deal with honda not being able to use coolants with silicates if it makes the coolant better and safer for the engine. Reason?

Is it for a reason or just honda wants our cars to last shortly? Added (1). Any more answers i was checking out that video then checked and notice newer cars don't use the coolant anymore so what's the deal we have to go back to inferior coolant i've read it eats the seals in cars? Roughly how much could I get from selling my hybrid car with a dead hybrid battery?

I have a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid with about 175k miles. I'm the second owner and there's nothing else wrong with it besides the dead hybrid battery. The battery is very expensive to replace and it's honestly just more of a financially smart decision to sell it rather than spending about 2,000 on a new battery. I just want to know what is a decent price to let it go for considering the hybrid battery is dead ultimately making it useless until replaced.
