Honda xr70r dirt bike won't start?

My brothers xr70 randomly stopped working and has been sitting here for a while. I can't seem to get the gas lid to open so I can't see if it has gas or not. I put it in neutral and tried to start it but she doesn't wanna work with me. I'm not really sure what I should try. Suggestions? (NOT GOING TO A ENGINEER BECAUSE I'm TRYING TO SELL HER)
