Honda accord keeps getting hot?

My 2004 honda accord ex 2.4 keeps getting hot, after around 5 minutes or less when I first start it it starts going up and then like 10 minutes later its all the way on the red line we replaced the thermostat what else could it be? My sister drove it around 140 miles with it on hot almost to the red line could she have messed up the engine? Is there anyway to check it if its worth fixing or getting a new engine? What are the disadvantage of the AWD 2018 Honda Civic Type R?

The Type R Civic caught my eyes all thanks to its all angular and sleek designs, DRL lights, modern engine technology and the use of a thinner grade oil that I assume will improve engine performance and fuel economy. Honda Civic LX 1998. Should I keep or try to sell?

So I have a Honda Civic LX. She is 20 years old with about 70,200 miles on her. I bought the car from my grandma about two years ago with about 50,000 miles on her. My sister and I both learned how to drive on her. My grandma drove the car very little in its first 18 years. Since buying her, I Drive it daily to and from work, sometimes twice a day. I usually drive between 8-20miles a day, give or take some. Since buying her two years ago these are the repairs I have gotten done - new muffler - some new belts (not quite sure what they were called - new radiator and water pump - new timing belt (And possibly another thing or two, just can't think of it all) She is now making a rattle sound in certain rpms and a buzzing sound when accelerating. I'm going to take her a mechanic this week, but i'm guessing she needs a new exhaust system/catalytic converters. In your thoughts and opinions, should I spend the money to get her fixed? Are the new generation Honda Civics all that good?

I'm talking about the ones from 2017-2019 Everytime I got out on a drive I see maybe 10-15 Civics mostly black ones the LX or EX models. I even see a lot of Uber cars that are civics. My friend said they are cheap which is why people get them but they are also reliable and have outstanding fuel economy. BQ: What kind of car are you driving?
