I wanted to know if the Honda Civic Coupe and sedan are different lengths but Google says they are the same length. Why is this?

I thought the coop was going to be much smaller in inches but it's not Google says it's the same length do you know why this is do they Inlongate the doors and that's pretty much it? To make it a coup and does this apply for all cars
