What are signs your car needs new spark plugs?

I have a newer Honda with 75k miles. It started making loud noises in the morning and seems to be running rough like not accelerating as fast as before.

I have read that Honda uses NGK iridium tip with 120k mile rating. So should I wait til 120k miles?
