Want to buy a used SUV on Craigslist, anything I should be mindful of?

I'm looking to buy a 2015/2016 Toyota RAV4 or Honda CRV from a random stranger on Craigslist. I'm not good with cars, so is there anything specific I should check and make sure nothing is wrong with the vehicle? Or would a 2015/2016 still be considered so new that there should be no major concerns?

My car is overheating and I can't find out why?

I bought an old 96 Honda Civic from a friend and it's been sitting for while. It's been started every month or two. He told me it runs and drives but overheats and he can't find out why. I've changed the thermostat and the radiator and after the car warms up for a bit it still overheats and coolant even boils in the overflow tank. 2012 Honda Civic Engine Done?

So my mom drives a 2012 Honda Civic Lx. I was driving it home from work last night and about 2 minutes from home, the Check Oil Levels light came on, immediately after that the engine emitted a constant and loud rattling noise and eventually, like 500ft from home, the car stalled out completely, I got it started again to make it back home, I didn't take it over 25 after the rattling started. We checked the oil and it was bone dry, my mom got it done in February and still has the receipts. We put 3qts in, it's a 3.9qt tank, it sounds slightly better and doesn't stall out but still that constant rattling like the car is going to fall apart at any moment. Is my mom's car done for? How much should I sell my motorcycle with a blown engine for?

I have a 2004 Honda shadow spirit 750 with a blown motor. I don't know exactly what's wrong with it, i just know that there's zero compression in one cylinder and almost zero in the other. It has been sitting in a barn for 3 years and is pretty dirty. I'm going to sell it for parts and was wondering what a reasonable price would be. 2007 Honda CRF 80F won't fire back up!

Completely out of ideas so maybe someone can help! Got my 07 Honda CRF 80F back up & running after a few years sitting there at my folks house while I lived out of state. Petcock assembly, lines, spark plug, fuel, oil changed. Carb cleaned, jets triple checked, lines, the whole works. Getting fuel, getting spark, idle was nice low & perfect. Running great no hesitation nothing! Take it out for a 10 mile ride out in the desert no problems at all. I let it sit maybe a week & a half just will not start even tried the ol bump start, nothing. Compression has always seemed low never had a problem kicking over until now. Still gets spark, yadda yadda. Only thing I did notice was an unusually large amount of fuel coming into air filter area. Plug seemed a bit damp with fuel aswell. Possibly flooded? Carb causing the issue? I'm out of ideas & going crazy help me thank you ): Read more: 2007 Honda CRF 80F won't fire back up!
