Performance clutch vs OEM? Pros and cons please? - 1

So the time came for me to replace the clutch in my 1995 honda civic I brought it to a guy my family knows who does our cars for a low price and doesn't cut corners but he asked if I wanted a performance clutch I asked if they're more durable than oem and he saI'd yes so I said sure why not. I heard it makes the clutch pedal a little harder to press down, but I think I can handle it. I rarely drive in stop and go traffic so hopefully its not too bad. But pros and cons of Performance clutch vs oem style?
