2012 Honda Civic Engine Done?

So my mom drives a 2012 Honda Civic Lx. I was driving it home from work last night and about 2 minutes from home, the Check Oil Levels light came on, immediately after that the engine emitted a constant and loud rattling noise and eventually, like 500ft from home, the car stalled out completely, I got it started again to make it back home, I didn't take it over 25 after the rattling started. We checked the oil and it was bone dry, my mom got it done in February and still has the receipts. We put 3qts in, it's a 3.9qt tank, it sounds slightly better and doesn't stall out but still that constant rattling like the car is going to fall apart at any moment. Is my mom's car done for?

What's the deal with honda not being able to use coolants with silicates if it makes the coolant better and safer for the engine. Reason?

Is it for a reason or just honda wants our cars to last shortly? Added (1). Any more answers i was checking out that video then checked and notice newer cars don't use the coolant anymore so what's the deal we have to go back to inferior coolant i've read it eats the seals in cars? Loss of power in Low RPM?

Hey guys, I ride a 2011 CBR 250R，Recently I have been having a problem with losing power during first and second gears around the low-mid RPM's. It happens when I accelerate at a quicker speed it feels like the power cuts (which engine braking occurs) and then it accelerates again after 1 or 2 seconds. It usually occurs when I have 1 or 2 bars of fuel left so i believe it might be a problem with the fuel or petrol. I have been filling my tank with the normal petrol required at well known gas stations in my area. I have recently had this problem but after servicing the motorcycle (a few weeks ago), it was a problem with the air filter being very clogged and dirty, after servicing it was fine, and then this started happening recently. anyone have any idea what the problem is? I did email honda and they said my chains and sprockets may be the cause to it and they need to be replaced, I'm looking to replace them but I'm afraid if after replacing them, the same p...

Fuel filter leaking after replacement?

I have a 1996 Honda Accord, the fuel filter was dirty so my boyfriend decided to change it. Now sometimes the gas sprays or leaks in the new filter also leaking from the washers as well. We used a flare wrench and tried tightening it for hours. Put the old fuel filter on and it still does it, and old washers and still does it. What could possibly be causing this?
